About Mia

In 2000, Mia Whitfield's debut single "Show Me I'll Show You" hit #1. What followed was a career most people only dream about: five albums, nine singles to radio, and a touring life that took her from performing at Nelson Mandela's 80th and 82nd birthday celebrations to sharing the Olympic Stadium stage in Barcelona with Bono and Wyclef Jean.

But the moment that shaped everything wasn't a stadium, it was a school gymnasium. Through the Rocking Future roadshow, Mia performed at more than thirty schools around Johannesburg, using music to fight bullying and show young people what's possible when you find your voice. That's where she learned what she now builds her entire business around: singing isn't just a stage skill. It's a mental health tool. A confidence builder. A way home to yourself.

That belief became Singit Inc, a singing wellness studio with a footprint now spanning South Africa, Canada, and the UK. Mia didn't inherit this. She built it, note by note, city by city, and now she's showing other singers and coaches how to build it too.
